June 8, 2002 NEXUS Meeting
The Point Roberts Chamber of Commerce and the local community would like to express their thanks to Mr. Ron Hays for coming to give us details on the Nexus program.

UPDATE: Nexus is scheduled for install at the Point the week of July 22. It looks like our operating hours will be 3 - 8 PM daily, plus a few hours Saturday morning, although that could change a bit by the time we actually open. We have not been successful in changing HQ US Customs on priority processing for PTR residents but by the time we get your lane open, hopefully it will be moot.

Nexus in Point Roberts: Scheduled for July 14th., (new update)

Cost for program for 5 year enrollment fee: $ 50.00 US or $80.00 Canadian.

Those who are under the age of 18 are free. Good for both Canada & United States Crossings As Per Garrison Courtney (Press Secretary for INS Office) who spoke at recent meeting held for Welcome for Governor Locke, he stated that installation of Nexus for Point Roberts will follow two weeks behind Douglas and Peach Arch Crossing.
