1. Working under a Grant with the U.S. Forest Service to build a Pier in Point Roberts:
-Hosted Congressman Rick Larsen for an informative Lunch.
-Paid for a Chamber Representative to go to Washington DC. as part of a informational/fundraising visit.
2. Arranges monthly luncheons with informative guest speakers.
3. Organizes the 4th of July Parade.
4. Answers enquiries for new businesses and tourists.
5. Organizes the Chamber's Tourist Information Booth.
6. Publishes an informational newsletter for members.
7. Coordinates and promotes the annual Spring Social.
8. Coordinates and promotes the Annual General Meeting.
9. Produced and maintains an internet web site for the Chamber and other interested groups in Point Roberts.
10. Appoints two representatives to the Character Plan Committee.
11. Organized the "Save the PACE Lane" campaign.
12. Organized the Save the PACE Lane town meeting.
13. Coordinates and pays for Advertising to promote Point Roberts:
-Whatcom Visitors Guide.
-Point Roberts Auto Freight travelling billboard.
14. Paid for and installed Point Roberts Directional signs.
15. Co-founded the Economic Development Council with Port of Bellingham.
16. Co-founded Dollars for Scholars -paying for initial research before startup. -providing startup funding.
17. Worked on the Whatcom County Sub Area Plan for Point Roberts.
18. Distributes email to members to promote important events in Point Roberts.
19. Awards a $500 SCHOLARSHIP to a graduating senior.
20. Provides Chamber members a Canada Customs Bond for traveling between Blaine and Point Roberts without having to pay Canadian duty or gst.
